      Ron Finemore Transport (RFT) is a nationally recognised, regional transport and logistics business servicing the Eastern States of Australia.       About the Opportunity

      This is a permanent position based at either the Barnawartha or Wodonga Operations Centres in regional north-east Victoria close to the border cities of Albury/Wodonga.

      As Driver Trainer you will be responsible for recruitment, induction, and driver training onsite and out on the road with our drivers.  

      The position would ideally suit someone who has worked in the road transport industry, has years of experience as an MC driver and has great communication skills.

      Your skills and experience include:

      • Industry understanding of OH & S legislation
      • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willing to obtain)
      • Heavy Vehicle licenses
      • Ability to communicate at all levels
      • Ability to work with drivers in order to get the best outcomes for the business
      • Competent user of Microsoft Office tools  
      • Contribute to the improvement of systems and the working environment
      • Self-motivated, forward thinker and enjoy a challenge

      A background in Operations, EH&S, Compliance or similar roles would be desirable
