About the Role

There are casual and  permanent full time positions available for Night operations support  at our Barnawartha depot. This position would ideally suit someone looking to develop their career with a respected Company that has ambitious plans for growth. 

This role suits people who are self-motivated, work well in a dynamic team, enjoy a challenge and are customer focused.  

Commitment to achieving the most effective and efficient way to allocate drivers and resources is an important aspect to this role. The ability to communicate effectively and keep all stakeholders onside is also a key element of the role. The night operations support position is an excellent spring board to progressing through the organisation. 

Key aspects of the role:

• Ensure all operational, administration, customer service and relationships are managed in a professional and appropriate manner
• Assisting to maintain effective, efficient and best practice logistics solutions within the operations
• Problem solve and think on your feet
• Ability to work within an established Environment, Health and Safety System (EHS)

About You

This role is all about your ability to think on your feet, solve problems and allocate drivers and resources efficiently and effectively. Providing excellent customer service and having good communication skills will be a key component of your success. You are able to keep your cool and stay focused on the task when working in a faced paced sometimes pressured environment.   

You will have an excellent grasp of Microsoft Windows software and be able to pick up new systems and technologies quickly.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, often changing, fast paced environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multi task
• Excellent data entry skills

You do not necessarily need to have a background in transport. We are looking for motivated individuals with a CAN DO attitude who are able to adapt and learn quickly in an environment which operates with a ‘sense of urgency’.
