Business Administration Trainee - Wodonga

A full-time position is available for a person to fulfill the position of Administration Trainee.

This position is based at our Wodonga Head Office and would ideally suit someone looking to enter the workplace and secure a career with a highly respected Local Company.  The ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated, conscientious and enjoy working as part of a team in an extremely varied role.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment and is proactive with an appetite to learn.

Desired Skills:

  • Commitment to participate in a traineeship for twelve months
  • Prior administration experience along with with an intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, Word and Powerpoint would be an advantage but not essential as full training and support will be ongoing
  • Willingness to learn new skills and ability to listen and learn on the job
  • Demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and be exceptionally organised
  • Have excellent problem solving and time management skills

Duties:

  • Invoicing 
  • Data entry and scanning documents
  • Answer calls from clients regarding their enquiries
  • Filing - upkeep and maintenance of all filing systems
  • General administration functions, using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • General Administrative and clerical support 

This is a Level 2 Clerks - Private Sector Award position with the expectation that an appropriate traineeship will be undertaken.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical check.
