About the Business

As part of the company’s carefully managed succession plan, these unique opportunities are available to join this progressive family owned regional transport and logistics business and commence an exciting career.

With its Head Office in Wodonga on the NSW/Victorian border, Ron Finemore Transport (RFT) was established in 2004 to service the road freight needs of regional industries and communities. Today, RFT has grown into a leading company of over 600 people with more than 250 trucks on the road. Our company has a strong focus on safety, customer and performance. We see these positions as unique opportunities to mentor and develop the future generations.

About the Role

The roles will be mentored and supported by an experienced leadership team, providing exposure to the day-to-day management and operations of the business including:

  • Safety performance of the business.
  • Customer performance and relationships.
  • People leadership and development.
  • Operating performance and cost effectiveness.
  • Financial performance, business planning and strategy.
  • Risk management and compliance.

About You

These roles will suit motivated proactive individuals looking to gain experience and develop practical skills in the transport and logistics industry. These people will be looking to establish a career in a progressive and highly regarded business and will have a desire to live and work regionally.
